![]() ![]() If the solution is not visible, (I seem to remember this problem in C# Express 2005/8), then you can add an existing project via File>Add>Existing Project. If it's visible, then you can right-click on the solution and choose Add>Existing Project. I have Visual C# Express 2010 and when I create a new project, it automatically creates a default solution. Xcopy $(TargetDir)$(TargetName).* \\folder\$(TargetName)\1.0\ /Y Rem if "Enterprise" build then copy dll to Corp R:\ drive and to Build Machine R:\ ![]() Xcopy $(TargetDir)$(TargetName).* R:\Extranet\$(TargetName)\1.0\ /Y Here is a post build event that I use in my project properties->build events rem when building on local workstation copy dll to local R:\ If a developer only wants the ui projects, they can open a special "ui" solution that is a subset of the whole. Once this is done and everything is pointing at the same place, you can even add different combinations of projects to different solutions. ![]() After that, have all of your projects reference this location. Or you can add a post build command to push the dll there. Right click a project, properties->build and change the output. My company uses the "R" drive, which is just a LOCAL (not network so no one can touch another persons folder) mapped folder everyone has. Although these a third-party extensions, they won't slow the editing programme down.I would come up with a common area to push all dlls. ![]() Lastly, there is a module that allows various extensions to be used with the platform. The third module is called Git and this allows programmers to incorporate Git through the editor, for example, to review diffs and stage files. It can be used to debug breakpoints and call stacks. Second is the debugging module which searches your code for potential pitfalls and even suggests solutions. It is much more than a simple auto-complete function. The first of these is Visual Studio Code's IntelliSense module which provides users with suggested completions that are based on variable types, function definitions and imported data. The intuitive way in which Visual Studio Code works belies its power for anyone who works with coding software of their own. It is available for Windows, iOS and other operating systems, providing a visual way to work with code. Visual Studio Code is a code editing programme that is free to download.
